"I guess I could be pretty pissed off about what happened to me... but it's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst... And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday."
My name is Ashah, and I have a lot to be thankful for. I may come off as presumptuous, but I'll let you draw your own assumptions. I have some really great friends, & I love them so much. I'm a weird girl, honestly, and impulsive to boot. People call me eccentric. I live for the moment, do what I want and don't worry about my past. My life is a series of strange events, and that's what keeps it interesting. Although I have anxiety issues, and I get stressed out easily, my life has taught me not to worry about petty little things, and to focus on the positive. There is so much more opportunity in being optimistic. It isn't healthy to be upset all of the time, and life is too short to spend it that way. I've learned from each person I've ever met and every friend I've ever had - and unlike a lot of them, I have a heart. I care about people's feelings, and sometimes my conscience gets the best of me. I see the good in people, and trust my intuition. I'm not going to put myself out here as a perfect person, in fact, I have bad skin, bad teeth, and perpetually messy hair. I wear way too much makeup, and draw on my eyebrows. I'm not thin, and I'm covered in scars. It's obvious that I'm extremely flawed - we all are. Learn to love people for what they are inside! I don't judge people, because I don't expect others to judge me. I'm not shallow, I'm not part of a "crew". your scene sucks, and I don't live to fit a fucking stereotype. I've learned to take the good with the bad. I used to worry about what everyone thought of me, but I've come to realize that life isn't about being typical, or fitting in. Life is about living, being happy, and learning from your mistakes. There is beauty in everything around you. |
